Position : Chief Information Officer - Freetown, Sierra Leone
Electricity Distribution and Supply Authority (EDSA) of Sierra Leone are looking for a Chief Information Officer (CIO)
Responsibilities:
- The CIO will be responsible for the overall operational, technical, and security protocols and performance of EDSA’s Information Services and Technologies (IST) architecture and for developing annual plans for effective operation of the IST systems.
- The CIO will also centralize the Information Systems and Technologies (IST) services of EDSA in a consolidated and strengthened approach through an “Integrated Information and Management System and Technologies” (IIMST) within the various ongoing reform projects by consolidating of the IIMST of EDSA.
- Developing key strategies on IST for each business unit of EDSA and will develop the key strategies in conjunction with the Executive Directors of each business unit of EDSA.
- The overall operational, technical, and security protocols and performance of EDSA’s Information Services and Technologies (IST) architecture.
- Developing annual plans for effective operation of the IST systems.
- Implementing daily operations and aligning those to EDSA’s goals and strategies.
- Supporting operational units of EDSA in the development of processes’ blueprint.
- Centralization and consolidation of IIMST services should result in an alleviation and significant reduction of the “Technical Losses” of the network systems of EDSA.
