• As the manager of the communal farm - I was responsible for 375 acres of Mango & Avocado plantations & Citrus orchards including a seasonal Pack-house & a team of 5-50(depend on season)workers from varied backgrounds: Israeli & Bedouins, workers from the Palestinian Authority & Thailand, Agriculture students from India, Myanmar & Vietnam, as well as volunteers from Europe & the Americas. In my term, we broke records of both crops(mostly for export)& profits, planted new Avocado plantations, recycled water by using treated wastewater & turning used cook-oil into bio-diesel fuel for our engines
