- Monitored the use of grinding steel balls and controlled the blending of different sizes of steel balls in the mill which improved mill grind to meet acceptable products size of 106 microns. § Analyzed metallurgical data in order to benchmark correlated data against plant performance and identified areas of weakness and established a means to solve and improve recovery. . § Conducted practical test works at laboratory and pilot plant scale to analyze plant efficiency and implemented efficient strategies such as increase in mill throughput which improved plant processes. § Worked as part of a team tasked to improve production efficiency and developed operating procedures that maximized plant output. § Performed sampling and sample preparation for both internal and external laboratory analysis to increase recovery. § Ensured that reagents ( lime, sodium cyanide, lead nitrate and hydrogen peroxide) usage on the process plant were adequately monitored and consumption optimized to improve recovery and cut down reagent cost.
