- The core responsibilities of this role is to ensure professional workmanship standards at all times to maintain and ensure safety is practiced at all work stations, rebuild all engines models within standard repair time, Carry out C-service (at 1,500 hrs.), D-service (mid-life servicing) ,carry out engine removal and installation, attend to all major breakdown repairs, perform preventive maintenance and major component change out, Liaise with internal departments, suppliers, and individuals to achieve customer service requirements, write report on each job completed and keep track on components failure and file for warranty claims.In addition to these responsibilities, I also used electronic software device (INSITE) to analyze fault codes, analyze fuel consumption. Supervised and trained Technicians on the job, undertake technical investigations of early warning problems and correction activities. I also used Insite soft wear device to monitor and analyze fuel burnt, calibrate electronic control modules (ECMs) and assess engine warranty information through quickserve and pro-actively support and participate in safety and work practice related initiatives in the working environment. Job Hazard Assessment (JHA) and Field Level Risk Assessment (FLRA) are used to assess risks of tasks before carrying out the assigned task.
