Assisting the Mechanical Head in carrying out Mechanical Duties: Nation Service at Cargill Ghana Limited: During my national service period, I served as assistant engineer to the Head of Mechanical Engineering Department where I was responsible for analyzing data from the machinery to determine a possible future failure.  Internship at Cargill Ghana Limited: During my three (3) month internship at Cargill, I was able to gain a deeper understanding of how my interest and skills may apply to an engineering role in an industrial setting. I was also responsible for assisting the engineers in carrying out maintenance work on their machinery. During this period, I identify some shortcomings with some of their operations and suggested feasible solutions.

Design and manufacture an energy efficient cook stove: I was the group leader and lead designer of a team of students who designed and manufactured a cook stove that uses charred agricultural waste which have been pulverized as fuel. Designing of a color sorting machine: Teamed up with a colleague student to design and develop a working prototype of a color sorting machine that can be used in the food and beverage industry for sorting out products. We successfully developed an algorithm which sorted 90% of all colors entered into the machine. The multipurpose drawing table: I was the group leader and lead designer of a team of students who designed and developed an adjustable multipurpose drawing table for students during school days. The Rotor Tiller Project: As my first year project at KNUST, I designed a farm implement to assist farmers in the control of weed on their farms.
