- My role as an audit assistance gave me a better understanding of the company's internal control systems which i recognized it to like the engine or ' life blood of the company'. My role helps uncover so many irregularities that was in-consistence with management policies on the part of some staff members. These thought me to take the internal control system serious in every company that i will find myself. Secondly i had an opportunity to work in both the account and MIS department. These made me very volatile within the company. For instance, in absence of the account officer, i could still prepare our bank reconciliation statement due to my consistent visit to the account department. My exploration at the MIS department also exposed me to the system or the software the company was using (gkudi software). I could input data into the system with ease anytime without assistance.
