- I oversee the day to day operations of the company, ensuring all orders are fulfilled in a timely and efficient manner. My job function includes liaising with the customer daily to collate all job requests and process them by assigning various drivers to fulfill delivery requests. Preparing of payroll, performance reviews, training, leave management, disciplinary actions, staff meeting planning and hiring of new staff members are also a part of my job role. I liaise with the Finance Team to ensure all jobs done are invoiced, once I complete the reconciliation process with customers. I ensure there are regular updates to the customer on the status of jobs and assigned trucks via email and phone, to manage expectations and ensure customer satisfaction.
